Cat8 is the latest IEEE standard in copper ethernet cable, it represents a significant leap in data transfer speed over previous versions.

Cat8 cable is well suited for server rooms and as it has RJ45 connectors it can connect to most standard network equipment allowing you to upgrade your network without the need for new equipment. With transparent plug and gold plug shell. Fully backwards compatible with previous standards.

In a Cat 8 cable each twisted pair is foil wrapped, then the four twisted pairs are also wrapped in a braided shielding.
